DS1307

The DS1307 serial real-time clock (RTC) is a low-power, full binary-coded decimal (BCD) clock/calendar plus 56 bytes of NV SRAM. Address and data are transferred serially through an I²C, bidirectional bus. The clock/calendar provides seconds, minutes, hours, day, date, month, and year information. The end of the month date is automatically adjusted for months with fewer than 31 days, including corrections for leap year. The clock operates in either the 24-hour or 12-hour format with AM/PM indicator. The DS1307 has a built-in power-sense circuit that detects power failures and automatically switches to the backup supply. Timekeeping operation continues while the part operates from the backup supply.

Solar Powered Mechanical Light Sensitive Flower

“This project is the design of a mechanical flower which is sensitive to light and moves in the direction of light. I started off in my mind to design a compact one but as always things don’t necessarily go …

Interface DS1307 RTC Module With Arduino Display Date/Time on OLED

“In this tutorial, we will explore how to interface the DS1307 RTC module with an Arduino UNO. We will begin by addressing several key questions: What exactly is an RTC (Real-time clock)? Why is an RTC module used? How does …

Arduino Data Logging Shield With Real Time Clock Timestamp … and Telemetry, Sensor Network

“A data logger is a device that captures sensor information and stores it for later use. It can use multiple sensors and collect data over time to record events, analyze for trends or help predict events. Using a microcontroller such …

Make a Vintage Looking Wooden Digital Clock

“This is an old looking vintage digital clock. This clock is made up of wood and completely digital. This clock can run for about a week (7 consecutive days) in a single charge. It uses an ATmega328P microcontroller which uses …

Periodic Table Clock

“In this guide, you’ll learn how to create a unique clock that displays the time with the atomic numbers of elements on the periodic table. By illuminating specific elements on the table, time is represented in hours, minutes, and …

PICMorseClock

“A PIC16 based Morse Code Clock It will blink green once a second, on the top of every minute will blink the hours in blue and the minutes in red following the morse code pattern for numbers, if picked up …

Arduino Skeleton Seven-Segment Clock

“Let’s build a new Style clock using Arduino and PCB If you are a regular follower of mine, then you might have seen my clock-making tutorials. These are clocks of different types and styles that I have made. in …

The Arduino Launch Control System (LCS)

“The Arduino Launch Control System is a model rocket launch controller for a single rod launch pad. This was the first Arduino rocketry project that I wanted to design and build, having just started into learning about electronics and the …
