CD4013

The CD4013 dual D flip-flop is a monolithic complementary MOS (CMOS) integrated circuit constructed with N- and P-channel enhancement mode transistors. Each flip-flop has independent data, set, reset, and clock inputs and ``Q'' and ``Q'' outputs. These devices can be used for shift register applications, and by connecting ``Q'' output to the data input, for counter and toggle applications. The logic level present at the ``D'' input is transferred to the Q output during the positive-going transition of the clock pulse. Setting or resetting is independent of the clock and is accomplished by a high level on the set or reset line respectively.

Arduino Piano Tuner Helper

“Many electronic tuning devices are on the market. The cheaper ones are designed for specific instruments (such as guitar, violin). The more expensive ones often are called ‘orchestral tuner’, piano tuning included. For example, the Korg OT-120 (€ 62) or …

DIY Alarm Bike Lock (Shock Activated)

“In this project I will be showing you how to create a simple shock activated alarm bike lock. Like the name implies, it does create an alarm sound when your bike is being moved around with permission. Along the way …

Project  CMOS Clock

CMOS Clock

“Introduction I’ve recently become interested in clock projects, and it seemed appropriate to start by building the essential digital clock assembled from logic chips. Although clock projects exactly like this have been around for the best part of 50 …

Project  Battledip

Battledip

“This project is a good introduction to digital logic circuits as it will utilize basic concepts of Boolean logic and memory in circuits. You will be using chips such as a Dual D-Type Flip Flop, Quad 2-input XNOR gate, and …

Retro Project – Audio Mixer For Cassette Recording

“The digital age has seen a tremendous transformation ranging from the rapid increase in hard drive space and the speed of processors. However, some computer users in the past had to rely on more ancient technology to save and load …
