The Air Piano v2

A rotary piano with invisible keys, based on BBC micro:bit board. An interesting toy to make Wimpy Kids in the neighborhood do some exercise

The Idea
I am no piano expert nor do I have knowledge about notes, all I understand is that high frequency makes twitty sounds and low ones make beatty sounds.

Think about a piano that has no keys, makes some tone from movement of hand. That’s what this project is all about.

Working Principle
The micro:bit has an accelerometer and a magnetometer. By moving the board 360 degree round and upward/downward can be sensed with these sensors. There are block functions to generate square waves and showing text on 5X5 matrix. By adding an external speaker/buzzer/peizo tone can be created. Combining all these an air piano can be realized.”
