2N3906

The 2N3906 is a commonly used PNP bipolar junction transistor intended for general purpose low-power amplifying or switching applications. It is designed for low electric current and power and medium voltage, and can operate at moderately high speeds. The 2N3906 is specified by a collector current of 200 mA, collector-base and collector-emitter voltages of 40 V, for power dissipation of 300 mW. Its transition frequency Ft is 250 MHz, with a beta of at least 100. The complementary NPN transistor to the 2N3906 is the 2N3904. Both types were registered by Motorola Semiconductor in the mid-1960s.

Designing a Low-Noise Audio Amplifier with 2N3906

“In this project, we’ll guide you through designing a low-noise audio amplifier using the 2N3906 transistor. Circuit Design: 1. Biasing Circuit: Connect the emitter (E) of the 2N3906 transistor to the ground. Connect a resistor (RE) from the emitter …

Simple Sensitive 3 Transistors BFO Metal Detector

“If properly adjusted according to the instructions, it is able to detect a small coin at a distance of 15 cm In this project I will present you a Very Simple “Beat Frequency Oscillator” type of Metal Detector. BFO metal …

Auto-Ranging Ohmmeter

“Arduino auto-ranging ohmmeter using Pro-Mini & Oled display. Live Test: 56K ohm resistor shown. I wanted to design and build a simple ohmmeter for my electronic test bench instead of using a multimeter. I just needed to quickly measure new and …

Eurorack 4-channel mixer with VU meter

“A basic 4 channel mono audio mixer with gain amplifier and a 10 LED VU-meter BACKGROUND I am designing and building a series of Eurorack modules for interfacing modular analog synthesizers. As I am not a musician, I am …

Digital Clock With 7-segment LED Display

“The most common 7-segment application is making the digital clock. There are various commercial 7-segment parts available but their size is not big enough to make a wall mount type of digital clock. Thats why Im using the small square …

Arduino Cranial Stimulator (Bio-BrainTuner)

“Cranial electro stimulation uses harmonic frequencies to help balance the brain’s chemistry. Cranial electro stimulation uses harmonic frequencies to help balance the brain’s chemistry. By connecting with the body’s control center, the brain harmonic frequencies provide wide-ranging …

Neon Lamp Tea Light

“Neon lamps, also known as neon glow lamps, are wonderful little bulbs that glow orange when you give them high voltage and low current. Neon lamps are mostly obsolete now; they belong to an era when many electronic devices were …

Raspberry Pi CPU Temperature Indicator

“Previously I had introduced simple raspberry pi (Hereinafter as RPI) operational status indicator circuit. This time, Ill explain some more useful indicator circuit for RPI running as headless (without monitor) manner. The circuit above shows CPU temperature into 4 different …

Raspberry Pi Shutdown Indicator

“It’s very simple circuit for showing operational status of raspberry pi (Hereinafter as RPI). Maybe it’s useful when you running RPI as headless (without monitor). Sometimes I’m concerned when is right time for completely power-off after shutdown …

AVR High Voltage Programmer 2

“AVR-HV2 is Arduino based high voltage parallel programmer for AVR microcontrollers. This programmer can read, write, and erase both flash memory and EEPROM. Also, this can use to set fuse bits of AVR MCUs. AVR-HV2 programmer is designed …
