“This project is about How to make a mini CNC machine from OLD SCRAP DVD Drives using Arduino as a brain of this machine and L293D Motor shield. It is very amazing to see how this tiny machine draw images so nicely with a good accuracy. Basically any image which you want to draw by this machine need to convert in Gcode file using INKSCAPE SOFTWARE. this Gcode stream on arduino via processing GCTRL program. and L293D Motor shield accordingly instruct stepper motor how to move, combine and synchronize motion of steppers ends in a good image. This machine have two axis X-AXIS & Y-AXIS. X-axis is plotting are, paper is place on X-axis. Y-axis holds the pen.”
